The Felice Brothers—All When We Were Young
"Most of the intelligence community doesn’t believe he exists. The ones that do call him the ｡*:★Kawaii Soldier★:*｡. He’s an adorable ghost, you’ll never find him.”
catching up on comments all over the place tonight (or trying! I know i owe a bunch of answers!) and i don’t have like, a perfect promise to make on this.
but: i will tell you i don’t feel like i am at all done thinking or writing about the kings, and i don’t feel like i’m done figuring out who else i could figure out how to match up among the vets and the rookies.
so in lieu of an actual update, here are a couple ideas i’ve been kicking around but haven’t yet written. i’m hoping - depending on what happens in the post-season - to get through at least a couple of them.
- the one after Two-Way Player where joner finally asks pearson just what the hell richie did that was so great, and then figures out how to improve on it
- the one after that where pearson sort of gets…passed around to some of the other guys, starting with gaborik
- the one during the second losing streak where toffoli cracks and asks carts how the hell to get in richie’s pants, and richie and carts talk about it a little and laugh about it a lot but the next time they lose a couple games in a row and are feeling all frustrated about it they go have a couple shots and take at least a couple of the rookies back to their room like they did with co-eds back in the day
- the one i never wrote from the very beginning of the season (set before Young Buck) where richie is really mad at the world/carts but mostly just lonely and then he goes and picks up pearson
All of these sound great!!1! I want them all in my eyeballs right now. But, ugh, if I get a vote, I vote for the second idea listed here coming next, because I’m currently obsessed with Gabbo settling in and I’m curious about Pearson getting sort of passed around, okay, thankssssssss.
